Badges and Uniform

All of the young people in the Scout Group wear the Red and Blue Necker, which they will receive when they are invested. See the investitures page for more information on investitures.

Uniform can be purchased from the District Scout Shop or directly from the Scouts Online Store.

The pictures below show where the badges should be placed on the Beaver, Cub and Scout Uniforms. These can be used as a guide when sewing on badges.

Cubs

Cubs wear a green sweatshirt. When moving up to Cubs the Group name tape, District, County, Membership, Joining in and staged badges will need to be transferred from their Beaver sweatshirt to their Cub sweatshirt. Once invested they will be given a Pack name tape.

Cubs work towards their Chief Scout Silver Award and in doing so will earn Challenge badges as well as activity and staged badges.

When moving up to Scouts, Cubs will be given a “Moving on” award, to put on their Scout shirt.

Explorers

Explorer wear a beige shirt. When moving up to Explorers a new Group name tape with the Explorer Unit name on will be given to members. The District, County, Membership, Joining in and staged badges will need to be transferred from their Scout shirt to their Explorer shirt.
