All of the young people in the Scout Group wear the Red and Blue Necker, which they will receive when they are invested. See the investitures page for more information on investitures.
Uniform can be purchased from the District Scout Shop or directly from the Scouts Online Store.
The pictures below show where the badges should be placed on the Beaver, Cub and Scout Uniforms. These can be used as a guide when sewing on badges.

Beavers
Beavers wear a blue sweatshirt and once invested will be given their necker along with the Group and Colony name tapes, District and County badges and the Purple Membership award.
Beavers work towards their Chief Scout’s Bronze award gaining challenge badges along the way along with activity and staged badges.
When moving up to Cubs, Beavers will be given a yellow moving on award for their Cub Sweatshirt.
Cubs
Cubs wear a green sweatshirt. When moving up to Cubs the Group name tape, District, County, Membership, Joining in and staged badges will need to be transferred from their Beaver sweatshirt to their Cub sweatshirt. Once invested they will be given a Pack name tape.
Cubs work towards their Chief Scout Silver Award and in doing so will earn Challenge badges as well as activity and staged badges.
When moving up to Scouts, Cubs will be given a “Moving on” award, to put on their Scout shirt.


Scouts
Scouts wear a green shirt. When moving up from Cubs the Group name tape, District, County, Membership, Joining in and staged badges will need to be transferred from their Cubs sweatshirt to their Scout shirt.
Once invested Scouts will be given a patrol badge, which is placed below the District and Group badges on their right sleeve.
Scouts work towards the Chief Scout Gold award earning Challenge badges along the way along with Activity and staged badges.
Explorers
Explorer wear a beige shirt. When moving up to Explorers a new Group name tape with the Explorer Unit name on will be given to members. The District, County, Membership, Joining in and staged badges will need to be transferred from their Scout shirt to their Explorer shirt.
