Shortly after joining the troop, new Scouts will take part in an investiture ceremony. For their investiture ceremony Scouts are required to have their green Scout shirt. Scouts will also receive some additional badges for their uniform (see badges section for where the badges should be sewn). Scouts who are new to St Mark’s will also receive their group necker when they are invested.
At their investiture scouts make their Scout Promise and become a member of the troop. Parents are invited to attend the investiture and are welcome to take photos.
