Did you know that the average cost of purchasing a tent for our Beaver, Cubs, and Scouts outings is approximately £250.00?
This festive season, we are inviting our young people from 7th Harrogate Scout Group to get involved and help raise a ‘tenner for a tent!’ If each of our fantastic young members could raise £10, we would collectively reach £1,400, making a significant contribution towards new camping equipment for our group.
How to take part
To make fundraising accessible for everyone, we have created a sponsor form to record donations. Forms and money can be returned in January to your section leaders. Alternatively, the form includes a donation link, which offers a convenient way of collecting sponsorship money from friends and family. Don’t forget to remind them about “Gift Aiding” their donation!

- Wash the pots after a festive get together
- Clear the snow off a neighbour’s driveway
- Deliver Christmas cards for a family member
- Take responsibility for looking after the family pet for a week or two
What if my child raises more than £10
That’s fantastic! Every additional pound supports our campaign and allows us to invest even more in camping equipment, ensuring the experiences we offer are better than ever for all our young people.
